2012 Year Review!

Okay! Decided to review some of the tiny things that happened in 2012 for me!

2012 Year Review:

This year has been the toughest year throughout my high school life
and I’ve been through so much emotions, dilemmas, struggles and decision making
which I can’t simplyย put them into this year’s timeline.
But through all the teeny tiny experiences I grew to be stronger, wiser and more courageous!
Nevertheless, God blessed me with angels, strength, breakthroughs, comfort, hope and
opportunities that gave me a clearer picture of whatever that I’ve went through!
His plans and ways are definitely greater and higher!

Thank you for everyone who lent me a helping hand,
gave me a smile,
gave me a pat on the shoulder,
message me words of encouragement,
stood by me when I need support,
prayed for me when I was lost for direction,
made me laugh and cry
gave me a hug and said everything’s gonna be fine!
Many many more…. Thank you, thank you.

I won’t be who I am right now without You and people who supported me,
I won’t be making the decision I’ve made and be proud of myself.

I’m ever so thankful for the simple things in life
which I will treasure for life and I continue to look forward to many many
more beautiful and exciting things in my life!

“You don’t need to know what tomorrow holds; all you need to know is the One who holds tomorrow.” – Joyce Meyer

Went to STGCC yesterday with two of my friends and we had a great time tgt!
I guess it’s a must go place for people obsessed with cosplay, games and superheroes!
I don’t know almost all the manga characters played out so the only few I could recognize were spiderman and batman ๐Ÿ˜›
Saw Sandy from Cookie Cutter and her plushies too! Her plushies were amazing!

Too bad I couldn’t retrieve any the photo I took during the convention so now you only get to see my ticket ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

But look what I got for myself!

Digitally created and made into a charm! Both my friend and I bought one ๐Ÿ™‚

On a separate note…
I have a piece of very exciting news for you!
Gonna share them with you real soon! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Stay tuned!

A hug.

Finally put up the poster from Jimmy’s new book <Hug>.
What a beautiful book.

Been in this building for more than 2 years from now
but never felt like this before.
A beautiful place that I’ll treasure before I move on.

I like how the door reflects the beauty of surroundings.
It’s raining and it’s pouring…

My birthday + CNY Celebration

23 Jan

Blessed day indeed!
Woke up early in the morning for church’s new year service!
It was anointing and good! ๐Ÿ™‚
Later that day daddy got me a cake to celebrate it with my family, grandma (for the first time i guess!) and one of my fav aunt right after steamboat! :’)
Sometimes the best thing that can ever happen is to be surrounded by people you love! โ™ฅ

Thank God for my family and relatives!

24 Janย

The start of chinese new year visitations!
Collected new year essential— Angpaos! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Hahaha yay money for the next maad/flea! ๐Ÿ˜€
I love my grand-aunts!

25 Janย

School started.
Exhausted day, and a piece of pretty bad news for me…
Too personal to share but anyway I’ll be alright!
Not giving up yet! โ™ฅ

School has been insanely busy for me and i have way too many things to do!
Still learning to cope with my life right now with so many things going through my mind. Gonna spend this long weekend to make more stamps and paint all i want!

Really really wish to join MAAD in March but I won’t be able to make it ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
Guess I have to wait till the one in Dec which seems to be really far away :O
But till then… I’m not gonna give up trying and believing!ย โ™ฅ

So here to wish you a blessed new year again and hope you enjoy the long weekend!

Beautiful footprints

Something that got me really into when I was traveling around Taiwan is their stamp at touristy places! They all have different designs for visitors to use when they drop by for sightseeing! Too bad I only got a few of them because i always missed the opportunity to stamp because people will usually flock into places to get those stamps stamped while I am still strolling at the back hoping to take a couple of nice shots.

Here are some of the prints:

These are from Buluowan Recreation Area!
That place is unforgettable because it’s too beautiful!

I love this adorable birdie!

Not sure if the building in the picture is the logo but this is from Chien Tan Overseas Youth Activity Center! We stayed overnight there and it’s a cosy place for youth! ๐Ÿ™‚

TADA!! Here you go a special one…
One Piece character stamp from Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village!

It’s like a theme park and One Piece is just a temporary theme introduced into a section of the park! More on the theme park soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Dazzling โ™ฆ

Merry Christmas all! ;P

Okay, a little late but I’m definitely still in a Christmas-y mood! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Christmas was so good this year with my cousins and aunt, except the fact that I missed out sissy and parents in celebration of Jesus’ birthday!

So now i’m gonna introduce you this awesome place in Taipei here, where we spent lots of time together yesterday eating and talking!

Here you go:

The shop looks really princessy and classy with it’s pink and white elementsย โ™ฅ

So, we were asked to wait for our turn, supposedly for 2 hours or so (due to limited sits but we went there with determination that we HAVE TO EAT THEIR HONEY TOAST because most online reviews on this shop gave it 5 stars!) but thankfully we waited for less than an hour (or for an hour) and we got our sits! YAY YAY YAY!

Dazzling cooperates with Xperia (Sony Ericsson phone) and came up with dazzling phone casings! They also have designs for iPhone!

Everyone had to order at least a drink each so I got myselfย Caramel Macchiato ๐Ÿ˜€

Evan’s iced apple tea!

Angela’s tropical fruits tea! (REALLY GOOD)

Evan’s “Party In Your Mouth” honey toast!
We were still joking about the fact that he got himself such a pretty pinkish toast! ๐Ÿ˜›
And did you see “Xperia” on the chocolate? ๐Ÿ˜€

My blueberry honey toast! (Can’t remember the name for it)

Angela got herself chocolate honey toast while my aunt got a strawberry one ๐Ÿ™‚

So this is how I feel about honey toast:

Honey toast is their signature dish and the taste is interesting if you follow the right procedure to consume it (the waitress will teach you how). So basically it’s just combining the warm toasted bread with ice cream which tasted really good! (Sorry I’m not a food blogger and I can’t describe the awesomeness of it). Even though it’s not super special but the way they handle the toast and the way they serve it is very creative! ๐Ÿ˜€ I had a share myself (around 7 plus without dinner) and I felt super stuffed! :X

So a good suggestion will be… have someone to share it with you!!! (Strongly recommend 2-3 to share 1 Honey toast)

That’s about it for today! More to share on Taiwan trip! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey All, I’m finally back! :’)

Yes, after my exams and overseas immersion programme, i’m back to share stuffs with you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Photos above were taken at the Shanghai Museum Of Glass, a workshop where people could handpick their own glass beads according to their own preferences and make them into necklaces or bracelets ๐Ÿ™‚ The lady there will also be there to assist you if you want to make them into earrings! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ย  ย Oh, and not to forget, you can choose to paint your own wine glass at an acceptable price! They have lots of pictures and patterns for you to follow but mostly are for kids ๐Ÿ˜›

I really love the relaxed ambience of the workshop and the simple decorations, the weather on that day was cozy and really comfortable too! I just can’t express how much I love Shanghai and not to forget Suzhou’s serenity! Need to share more ย about my trip soon… Till then! ๐Ÿ˜‰
